Okay, Suzanne has received not one, not two, but three requests in the past five days from men seeking castration… which of course started curious me down a rabbit hole beginning with; vasectomy vs. castration vs penectomy… and the results of each.
Assuming these men really understood what they were asking for – castration – then the result would be to drastically lower their testosterone levels and lead to a reduced sex drive (libido). “The reduction of male sexual urges reduces aggressive behavior”, which is why it’s used in treating certain sexual offenses (chemically mostly, physically in some parts of the world).
It also has some negative effects, loss of muscle mass, osteoporosis, problems with metabolizing fats and sugars, potentially leading to heart disease., hot flashes (similar to menopause), impotence, and anemia, but let me get back to that, “reduction of male sexual urges reduces aggressive behavior” thing.
“[It] reduced the frequency and intensity of sexual thoughts in 76% and 71% of group A patients and in 78% and 72% of group B patients, respectively. Reductions in masturbation frequency were observed in 74% of group A and 83% of group B patients. The median Wilson’s Sex Fantasy Questionnaire (SFQ) scores were also significantly reduced in both groups.” [1]
Wowzers. There is definitely someone’s PhD study in there about testosterone, misogyny, and patriarchy! Is reducing testosterone the beginning of the solution? If so, it seems we are well on the way to Mother Nature handling the ‘man problem” for womankind already –
“Generational studies show a significant decline in average testosterone levels in men, with younger generations like Millennials and Gen Z potentially having lower levels than previous generations, even when controlling for age. This drop, observed from the late 1990s to the 2010s, appears independent of typical age-related decline and is linked to factors like increased Body Mass Index (BMI), obesity, and potentially other unmeasured environmental or lifestyle factors. While testosterone naturally decreases with age, this population-level decline suggests broader societal shifts impacting male hormones.“
But in the interim I wondered “why would any woman want too castrate their men?” Sexual attraction is one very real Goddess-given, fundamental power that women have over men. Orgasm denial and chastity increase that for their benefit while castration it seems, ends it! It would seem a no-brainer for women… keep them attracted, use them and rule them.
(This is my rabbit hole. So Shhhhh. Just stay with me here.)
Then I re-framed it from what might possibly be a woman’s point of view.
| BTW, This is where empathy begins. A.) making the topic at hand personal instead of a generality; “What would happen to me if I was castrated”, and then thinking/feeling about it from someone else’s personal point of view, “How might it be different if I was a woman thinking about this topic?”. Empathy. Try it. You’ll like it! |
If my choice as a woman was to nullify my primary predator completely, the one thing most likely to kill or rape me… or lose some of my power over them?
“I’d choose the bear.”
Framed like that it becomes a no-brainer! Castrate them all!
The men that would continue to offer women their support and help after castration would be much more likely to be acting purely from empathy, compassion or mutual benefit since their sexual attraction/interest in women was greatly reduced and with it, all the game-playing predatory men play to seduce or use a woman.
My personal trip down this rabbit hole finally ended with my asking myself about my service to my wife and Goddess Voltairine – and whether castration would change anything. Yes and No. My wife and I are not sexually compatible and have evolved into a platonic, loving relationship in which any sexual needs are found in others. As far as Goddess Voltairine mmmmmm…. yes. I totally lust after Her, but I’ve met Goddess Voltairine for a grand total of maybe 40 minutes over several separate encounters and all most likely never see her in person ever again. Yet even knowing that, I continue to serve and support them both as best I can. Maybe age has naturally ‘castrated’ me as testosterone naturally diminishes with age, so physical castration would be redundant? Or maybe I am just a better man, more feminine-energied man, than most.
