FROM THE BRETT’S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY FILES:
Long before Goddess V.’s first book on Gynarchy I’ve believed that in men, semen retention through the practice of edging (in contrast to using a chastity device) produces an altered state in which they become far more psychologically pliant, more devoted and eager to please women as well as more open to instruction from them. (She found the thought compelling enough to include a nod to it in her book!)
This morning I had a brain-burst!
What if it is not an altered state at all, but it is removing the effects of an altered state that we are already in? Removing the generations of patriarchal, misogynistic programming that as males, we all receive from birth and instead it is revealing the reality we all once knew to be true… that women are a rare, divine and beautiful creation of Devi that should be cherished, worshiped, and revered? Early cultures knew this truth. So maybe the practice of denying male orgasms serves to lift the scales from our eyes so that we can experience our once true nature as obedient servants to them!
