He accepts disrespect, poor treatment and total disregard from her because of his deep desire to please her. B.) A living doormat. Even though his feelings are unrequited, he continues to devote all his efforts to the woman who openly doesn’t care about him. A simp is a man who is disrespectful of himself. He realizes he has little to no innate value and he must always make an extraordinary effort to create value for the object of his affection. The woman being “simped” has no interest in Him other than his usefulness to her.
